Wintergloed 2025

BachAcademie Brugge
13 Jan 2026 - 18 Jan 2026ConcertgebouwThe Bachs were a clan. This extremely musical and widely ramified family dominated musical life in Thuringia for almost two hundred years. During this edition, you can expect living room concerts, music by father and son, uncle and nephew, cheerful wedding cantatas, and musical friendship. Artists and ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Gent, Vox Luminis, Freiburger BarockConsort, Maude Gratton, and Christine Busch will express the big and small emotions that are part of everyday life.

Gürzenich-Orchester Köln / Mozart. Le Nozze di Figaro
14 Mar 2026 - 14 Mar 2026ConcertgebouwAfter Mozart's famous overture, this lively opera buffa tells the story of Figaro's wedding. Figaro is about to marry his beloved Susanna, but Count Almaviva comes to disrupt the peace, housekeeper Marcellina is in love with Figaro, and Cherubino is in love with the countess. Everyone is beset by trouble, but not by his or her beloved. After rain comes sunshine, and after charming amorous chaos, everyone gets a happy ending. The Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne knows exactly how Mozart's witticisms should sound in this romcom avant la lettre.
